Farscape premiered in 1999 on the SciFi Channel and it was weird and fun and organic. It was also different starting with many of the actors accents because the show was shot in Australia and the majority of the actors were casted locally.

And maybe what's most significant, because y'all probably think I'm talking about a retro-show: Farscape visuals still hold up today!

The mix of muppet-inspired puppeteering and other practical effects just do so well.

An excellent show, and one that left me bitter at the behind the scenes budget fiascos that kept delaying production and led to a movie capstone instead of another season.

SciFi did no one a favour canceling it in favour of SG-1. I hope they're still finding bras lying around their offices and wondering where they came from.
